On May 17, the first meeting of the first academic committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Systemic Health Science (Incubation) and the launch of the regional key project of the Science and Technology Service Network Program (STS Program) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) were held at UCAS Hangzhou High Tech Institute, and the Provincial Key Laboratory of Systemic Health Science was officially inaugurated.

Introduction to the cooperation project

In 2020, the Zhejiang System Health Science Key Laboratory was officially included in the provincial key laboratory cultivation construction. The key laboratory will be dedicated to the research of big data and "precision medicine", which is the embodiment of the strategy of serving health China, "chronic diseases have become the main 'killers' that endanger people's health, and the key to general health. The main strategy to combat chronic diseases is to 'move the gate forward' and to monitor and intervene in people's health status at an early stage outside the hospital."

At the beginning of 2021, DeTong Biological and UCAS Hangzhou High Tech Institute (CAS Key Laboratory of Systematic Biology/Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Systematic Health Science (Incubation)), in cooperation with Prof.  Jiarui Wu's research laboratory, were formally approved for the STS Regional Key Project A of CAS "Development of Tumor Molecular Diagnostic Kits and Detection Instruments ".

" Development of tumour molecular diagnostic kits and detection instruments" project focuses on gathering the advantages of technology, talents and medical resources of CAS and Zhejiang Province, focusing on the frontier direction and major needs of health industry development in Zhejiang Province, facing the demand for liquid biopsy of tumours, carrying out the development of tumour molecular diagnostic kits based on new biomarkers developed independently and The project focuses on the development of tumour molecular diagnostic kits based on novel biomarkers and prototype tumour molecular diagnostic instruments.

This project is intended to combine the advantages of the laboratory of Prof. Wu Jiarui in terms of human resources, experimental equipment and the team of DALTONBio/QuanShi in terms of product development and industrialization, to realize the industrialization of scientific research results (system transformation application) through resource sharing and mutual technical assistance, using independent research and development, upgrading and transformation, system integration and other methods. When the time is ready, we will combine diagnostic instruments and kits to develop a molecular diagnostic system for tumour liquid biopsy, which will truly be a "Chinese creation" in the field of medical devices in China.

By creating such a systemic health science research platform, it is possible to move from 'disease research' to 'health research' and replace traditional 'fragmented' research with a systems science approach. The system science approach replaces the traditional 'fragmented' approach.
